Who is Gametek?
We have been around for more than 10 years – started off as Mr. Green Technology, working mainly with the casino brand Mr. Green. Time flies when you are having fun and today Gametek is part of the global family of William Hill – still working on developing the best technical solutions, now on more brands besides Mr. Green, such as Redbet and Mama Mia.

Joining Gametek means becoming part of a dynamic, international and fast paced working culture. We are around 70 people in Stockholm with remote team members in other locations such as Krakow and Kiev.

More specific
You will join as a Junior Developer (0-3 years of experience) in the Guardians team. Your team will work closely with a Product owner, UX and stakeholders to create experiences that are a cut above the rest on the market.

As a team member, you are not afraid to walk an extra mile. Communication skills are a must to have. You are not afraid to support the team with “extra development tasks” and be actively part of the discussion about processes, way of working, and what we can improve on.

It is a great plus if you have experience in front-end programming, but we work full-stack, so back-end experience is also valuable. This role is a Junior role, so you will not be expected to know everything from the start, and we will help you grow and learn as a developer.

From a technical point of view, any prior experience with .Net-- .Net Core and JavaScript frameworks like NodeJS, Angular and React, will be considered a plus.

Company language is English, although knowledge in Swedish is welcome.

It is also really useful if you have knowledge/experience with:

  • Microservice architecture
  • Databases
  • Event Driven architecture
  • DevOps
  • Rest API
  • CI/CD
  • Previous experience in IGaming

The team 
The Guardians team is a super talented full stack team that counts 6 developers. It is a senior team where everyone is willing to learn and support each other and where laugh, spending time together and having fun are key elements. The team will be there initially to guide you and help you grow, with an ambition that, in time, you will become another one of the people we lean on.

Guardians are handling registering, acquisition flows and various front-end functionality on the sites, with a hard focus on end-customers.
